Test 3 of the 2018 National Retriever Derby Champoinship is in the books at 5:42 pm. This will complete the first day of competition.

40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope
Marty and Buck came to the line at 5:40 pm for the 3rd test. They are the last running team for the 3rd series.
Right Bird - Marty crossed road and went straight to his bird.
Left Bird - He went out on a great line and just missed his bird to the left. He hunted deep and after a few loops he came back and got his bird.
Right Bird - Marty crossed road and went straight to his bird.

39. SKYWATCH HIGH PLAINS LAWDOG, "Virgil," LM, Ray Vreeland
Virgil and Ray came to the line for the 3rd test.
Right Bird - Virgil stayed right of the road and came in to the mark a little right of the bird. He turned left and went straight to get it.
Left Bird - He crossed the road then the field heading for his mark. He went under the arc and made one loop deep left then quickly came back for his bird.

38. CONTENDERS LAW DAWG, "Al," LM, Colby Williams
Al and Colby came to the line at 5:32 pm.
Right Bird - Al crossed the road and went wide left. He turned right to adjust and crossed to get his bird.
Left Bird - He crossed the field under the arc. He quickly came back to his bird.
Right Bird - Al crossed the road and went wide left. He turned right to adjust and crossed to get his bird.

37. ROCKET'S HOTTER THAN A CHIMNEY FIRE, "June," LF, Christian Alt
June and Christian came to the line at 5:29 pm for the 3rd test.
Right Bird - June went down the road and out to the fall area. One loop and she got her bird.
Left Bird - She went through the field towards her mark. She went under the arc, she turned and came straight back for her bird.

36. SEASIDES GOT TO GET UP AND TRY, "Pink," LF, Robbie Knutson
Pink and Robbie came to the line at 5:25 pm for the 3rd test.
Right Bird - Pink crossed the road and out to the fall area. She missed by the a thread on the left. She turned back and got it.
Left Bird - She went out through the field towards her mark. She got under the arc and made two loops deep then one loop right before getting her bird.

35. HUNTERS CHOICE XX, "Archie," LM, Bill Goldstein
Archie and Bill came to the line at 5:22 pm.
Right Bird - Archie crossed the road and into the field just left of the bird. A quick right turn and on his bird.
Left Bird - He went out across the field towards the mark. He went under the arc, made a quick right and back to his bird.

34. STILL WATERS PULLIN' THE PEACEMAKER, "Colt," LM, Clint Weitzel
Colt and Clint got to the line for their 3rd test at 5:18 pm.
Right Bird - Colt went down the road and into the field. He came in to the mark a little left and got deep. He turned right and came back to get his bird.
Left Bird - He crossed the field heading for his mark. Went under the arc and got deep but promptly came back to get his bird.

33. OLDSQUAW'S LITTLE RASCAL, "Rascal," LF, Frank Purdy
Rascal and Frank came to the line at 5:15 pm for their 3rd test.
Right Bird - Rascal crossed the road and back then went into the field left of the bird. She quickly turned right and came back to get her bird.
Left Bird - She crossed the field heading for her mark on great line. She got it!

32. HOSTESS CITY'S SEASIDE TORNADO WARNING, "Windy," LF, Jason Baker
Windy and Jason got to the line at 5:11 pm for the 3rd test.
Right Bird - Windy went down the road and out to the fall area. Came in just left of the bird and took two turns to get her bird.
Left Bird - She drove across the field heading for her mark. She missed her bird on the left and got a little deep. She turned and came back to retrieve her bird.

Dude and Glen came to the line for their 3rd test.
Right Bird - Dude crossed the road and came back across to got straight to his bird.
Left Bird - He headed across the field and straight to the bird.

30. TEUFELHUND HALLS OF MONTEZUMA, "Zuma," LF, Buck Shope
Zuma and Buck got to the line at 5:05 pm
Right Bird - Zuma went right to her bird.
Left Bird - She crossed the road heading right to her bird. Great Mark.

28. DICKENS' BAYOU TECHE PRAYIN' WHEN IT RAINS SH, "River," LM, Misty Melo
River and Misty came to the line at 5:00 pm for the 3rd test.
Right Bird - River went down the road and past the fall area. He got deep but made it back to the area. He had a few turns to get his bird.
Left Bird - He crossed the field and went under the arc. He got deep but worked his way back to the bird.

Cricket and Hunter came to the line at 4:56 pm

26. MEADOW WOODS DOC HOLIDAY, "Doc," LM, Tony Despenas
Doc and Tony got to the line at 4:53 pm for their 3rd test.
Right Bird - Doc crossed the road and right of the fall area and deep. He took a sharp left back to get his bird.
Left Bird - He went out across the field and under the arc. He then turned away from the bird. He went back right and got his bird.

25. RAINWATERS ISAAC, "Ike," LM, Shawn Ward
Ike and Shawn went to the line at 4:48 pm for the 3rd test.
Right Bird - Ike went across the road, through the field and deep. He made it back to get his bird.
Left Bird - He crossed field towards the guns then went left and deep. He looped back and forth deep two times until he worked it out and got his bird.

24. GET SUM MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, "Max," LM, Jason Baker
Max and Jason came to the line at 4:44 pm to run their 3rd test.
Right Bird - Max went out to the fall area and took a few loops to get to his bird.
Left Bird - He crossed the road and went into the field. He faded left of the guns and got deep. He worked back to the guns, continued to hunt until he found his bird.
Right Bird - Max went out to the fall area and took a few loops to get to his bird.

23. WHITE OAK LIL' MS. STORMY, "Stormy," LF, Martin Kirby
Stormy and Marty came to the line for their 3rd test at 4:40 pm.
Right Bird - She crossed the road and came back across. She got deep of the fall area and came back to her bird.
Left Bird - She popped on the way out and looked around. She started again and got deep of the guns then quickly worked her way back to the bird.

22. BAYOU-STAR FLEURTY GIRL, "Fleurt," LF, Suzan Caire
Fleurt and Suzan came to the line at 4:38 pm for the 3rd test.
