Callbacks To The Sixth

34 dogs have been called back to the 6th series, they are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 27, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44.

2 dogs were dropped, and they are 28 and 31. Dog # 36 starts the next series.

We are done for the day here. Test 6 will begin in the morning. Test dogs will begin at 7:45 am tomorrow, with the first running dog at 8:00 am. Please enter the test site from Tanglenook Road. Please follow the posted signs.

In The Books - Series 5

Series Five is officially in the books at 3:58 pm and so is Day Two of the 2018 National Retriever Derby Championship.

We will be posting the callbacks once we get them. Everybody get dry and come back to see who gets called back to the 6th series.

25. RAINWATERS ISAAC, "Ike," LM, Shawn Ward

Ike and Shawn came to the line at 3:52 pm for their Water Single.

Ike went down the hill off the line and into the pond. He got up at the tip of the peninsula and ran to the second portion of the pond. He swam that then drove up the hill towards the guns. He got under the arc and quickly to his bird.


24. GET SUM MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, "Max," LM, Jason Baker

Max and Jason came to the line and ran their Single Water.

Max went down into the pond where he swam across the left corner over to the point. He got out and over the peninsula and reentered the water. He went over the land bridge and through it to get back into the second portion of the pond. He climbed the hill and missed the bird on the right. He turned and came to get it. Very Nice.

22. BAYOU-STAR FLEURTY GIRL, "Fleurt," LF, Suzan Caire

Fleurt and Suzan came to the line at 3:42 pm to run their Water Single.

Fleurt went down the hill by the line and went into the left corner of the pond. She almost swam all the way to the end of the peninsula. She got out and ran the land bridge before getting back into the second portion of the pond. She than drove up the hill just missing her bird, she turned around and came back to get it.

21. TECHE'S BAYOU KAT, "Kate," LF, Wayne Stupka

Kate and Wayne came to the line to run their Water Single at 3:38 pm.

Kate got into the pond. She angled across the peninsula then reentered the second part of the pond. She got out and climbed the hill hooking the guns and coming straight around to her bird.

20. SWIFT RIVERS JEFFERSON MONTICELLO, "Jefferson," LM, Buck Shope

Jefferson and Buck came to the line at 3:37 pm to run their Water Single.

Jefferson ran down the hill off the line and got into the pond. He took a line towards the point. He crossed the point and reentered the pond. Exiting it he climbed the hill, and went under the arc where he hunted deep. He came back down to get his bird.




Rain Delay - Conditions - 5th

The thing with isolated showers is you never know when they are going to pop up. Well we had a shower that delayed us about 20 minutes from 3:15 - 3:37 pm.

19. TOP LINE RANGER LEADS THE WAY, "Ranger," LM, Marc Patton

Ranger and Marc came to the line at 3:11 pm for the run of the Water Single.

Ranger went into pond on an angle across to the point. He got back into the water on an angle to the land bridge. He went over the bridge then reentered into the second portion of the pond. He climbed the hill, got deep but worked his way back to get the bird.

18. BLACK LABS MATTER II, "Brody," LM, John Schneider

Brody and John came to the line to run their Water Single at 3:09 pm.

Brody went down the hill off the line and cut the very left corner of the pond. He went over the mound on the peninsula and  reentered the pond. He drove the hill just deep of the bird, made a quick turn down to get his bird.

17. SLR'S BIG GREEN SMASH, "Hulk," LM, Glen Curtis

At 3:01 pm Hulk and Glen ran their Water Single.

Hulk went down the hill off the line and into the pond. He swam over to the point and got onto the peninsula. He ran across it and reentered the pond. When he exited the water he climbed the hill and started his hunt even with the guns on the correct side, where he worked his way to get his bird.

16. SEASIDE'S MOJO MOXY, "Boots," LF, Jason Baker

Boots and Jason came to the line to run their Water Single at 2:56 pm.

Boots got into the water on an angle down the shore. She got over to the point into the back piece of the peninsula over to the land bridge. She went over the bridge and reentered the pond. Exiting, she climbed up the hill, went under the arc and hunted deep of the guns. She came back down to get her bird.

15. COLONIAL'S WE WILL ROCK YOU, "Rocky," LM, Buck Shope

Rocky and Buck came to the line to run their Water Single 2:52 pm.

Rocky went down the hill off the line to the left corner of the water. He swam to the to the point and went over the peninsula and back into the water. Exiting the pond he drove up the hill and hunted deep behind the guns way up b the crest of the hill. He worked his way to the bird.

14. BEAVER CREEK'S MAGIC WHITE LIGHTNING, "Madge," LF, Sol Semmler

Madge and Sol came to the line for their Water Single test.

Madge went down the hill off the line and went straight into the pond. She swam past the tip of the point on towards the far shore. She exited the water and drove up the hill to the guns. She got deep and hunted before she came back to get her bird.

13. IDAHO'S DUCK'S, BUCK'S & TRUCK'S, "Trucker," LM, Misty Melo

Trucker and Misty got to the line at 2:38 pm to run their Water Single.

Trucker ran down the hill off the line and entered the pond swimming towards the point. He went over the point and into the second part of the pond. He exited the water and got up onto the land bridge. He ran down it, then drove all the way up the hill and started a hunt left and deep of the guns. He took several passes before coming down to get his bird.

11. SWEETIE'S LITTLE DASH-A-RUE QAA, "Dash," LF, Alex Drent

Dash and Alex ran their Water Single at 2:33 pm.

Dash went down the hill into the left corner of the pond. Swam to the peninsula and crossed entering the 2nd part of the pond. Exiting it she drove up the hill, under the arc. She made passes deep but worked her way back down to her bird.


9. TEUFELHUND ARM BAR TAKEDOWN, "Rousey," LF, Buck Shope

At 2:25 Rousey and Buck started their Water Single.

Rousey left the line going down the hill and into the left cove to get to the peninsula. He went over the peninsula and entered the second piece of the pond. He exited and climbed the hill and went under the arc for a brief hunt deep. He then came back to get his bird.

6. TUCQUAN'S BEAUTY BEHIND THE MADNESS, "Bella," LF, Seth Steenburgen

Bella and Seth got to run their Water Single at 2:21 pm.

Bella got into the water at the left corner. She swam to the peninsula, exited the water and ran over the peninsula to reenter the water. She swam across the second part of the pond, exited it and drove up the hill. She got under the arc, turned left then a quick right to get out to her bird.

5. RAZOR'S BUCKSHOT, "Shooter," LM, Christian Alt

Shooter and Christian ran their Water Single at 2:17 pm.

Shooter went down the hill by the line and entered the left corner of the pond. He cut the water short and exited then went over the large mound portion of the peninsula. He reentered the pond and swam across to the exit point and drove up the hill straight to his bird.

4. BAYOU TECHE PAINT THE BLACK, "Madduxx," LM, Glen Curtis

Madduxx and Glen came to the line for their Water Single at 2:12 pm.

Madduxx ran down the hill by the mat and entered the pond on the left corner. He swam to the peninsula, exited and got over it to reenter the pond. He swam to the exit point and drove up the hill and got under the arc. He got back out to the right and to his bird.

3. CANDLEWOODS MEET MR OTIS, "Otis," LM, Rod Sage

Otis and Rod came to the line to run their Water Single at 2:08 pm.

Otis entered the left corner of the pond. He swam across to the peninsula got out and went over it. Reentered the water to swim to the exit point and drive up the hill straight to his bird.

2. PEPPERJACK'S DEAL ME AN ACE, "Dealer," LM, Misty Melo

At 2:03 pm Dealer and Misty started the 5th test - Water Single.

Dealer got into the pond tight on the left corner. He quickly got out and went over the large mound on the left end of the peninsula, where we lost sight and could not see if he caught the second piece of the pond. He drove up the hill past the guns and under the arc, then worked his way back  right to his bird.

1. LEADING LADY OF THE PACK, "Lady," LF, Hunter Street

Lady and Hunter came to the line ready to run their Water Single.

Lady ran down the hill by the mat and entered the left corner of the pond. She swam almost the edge of the pond. She got out and went over the land bridge. She then drove up the hill straight to her bird.

44. MICKEY'S VICTORY RUN, "Harley," LM, Christian Alt

Harley and Christian came to the line to run their Water Single.

Harley went down the hill by the mat and entered the left corner of the pond. He swam parallel to the shore to the tip of the peninsula. He exited the water and ran on the back side of the peninsula to the land bridge. He went over the land bridge then reentered the water. Exiting the pond again he climbed up the hill and went to his bird.

43. BEAVER RUNS RAYMOND FOR SHERIFF, "Raymond," LM, Leigh Windham

Raymond and Leigh started their Water Single at 1:50 pm.

Raymond went down the fill from the mat and entered the pond on the left side. He swam to the peninsula, exited and went over it and reentered the pond. He climbed the hill directly to the bird.

42. WILD WINGS SHUT UP AND HOLD ON, "Tobi," LF, Jimmie Darnell

Tobi and Jimmie started their Water Single at 1:45 pm.

Tobi cut a very close corner on the first entry of the pond. She went over the peninsula and reentered the pond. She exited and drove up the hill straight to her bird.

41. NO SLACK, "Tight," LF, Jason Baker

Tight and Jason came to the line to run their Water Single at 1:42 pm.

Tight entered the left corner of the pond. She swam across to the peninsula where she got out and went over the left end of the land bridge where she reentered the pond. Exiting the water she drove up the hill and went under the arc. She made a quick turn and got her bird.

40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope

Marty and Buck came to the line to run their Water Single at 1:37 pm

Marty entered the first part of the pond at the left corner. He swam across to the peninsula and went over reentering the water. He exited the pond driving up the hill, he went under the arc, took one turn left then right back down to get his bird.

Gun Change / Conditions - 5th Series

Gun changed happened after dog # 39 "Virgil" and handler Ray Vreeland finished their Water Single.

Currently we are at 79 degrees, with the humidity dropping to 65%. The wind is SSE at 17 MPH.

As we are approaching later afternoon / early evening the chances of isolated thunderstorms increase.

But right now we looking like we are in good shape to complete the 5th series without any weather issues.

39. SKYWATCH HIGH PLAINS LAWDOG, "Virgil," LM, Ray Vreeland

Virgil and Ray got to the line to run their 5th test - Water Single at 1:32 pm.

Virgil got into the pond on the left side. He went over the peninsula and reentered the pond. Exiting the water he drove up the hill to get his bird – Very Nice.

37. ROCKET'S HOTTER THAN A CHIMNEY FIRE, "June," LF, Christian Alt

June and Christian came to the line for their Water Single at 1:28 pm.

June got into the first part of the pond a little right. She took a hard left to shore and angled across the point onto the land bridge. She got back into the water, exiting, she drove up the hill to the guns, turned right and out to get her bird.

36. SEASIDES GOT TO GET UP AND TRY, "Pink," LF, Robbie Knutson

Pink and Robbie came to run their Water Single at 1:23 pm.

Pink went down the hillside from the mat and entered the pond. She got out and went over the peninsula to get back into the water. Exiting the water she went up onto the land bridge and dug up the hill to the bird. Very Nice.

35. HUNTERS CHOICE XX, "Archie," LM, Bill Goldstein

Archie and Bill came to the Water Single at 1:18 pm.

Archie got into the pond on the left side. He went over the peninsula and into the second part of the pond. Exiting, he went up the hill, under the arc and got deep. He came back down to get his bird.

34. STILL WATERS PULLIN' THE PEACEMAKER, "Colt," LM, Clint Weitzel

Colt and Clint go to the line to run their Water Single at 1:15 am.

Colt got into the first part of the pond then up and over the point. He went around the second part of the pond, not getting wet, and climbed the hill behind the guns. He then came around from the left side and got his bird.

33. OLDSQUAW'S LITTLE RASCAL, "Rascal," LF, Frank Purdy

Rascal and Frank started their Water Single at 1:11 pm.

Rascal got into the very edged of the left hand side of the pond. She went over the point and straight to her bird.

32. HOSTESS CITY'S SEASIDE TORNADO WARNING, "Windy," LF, Jason Baker

Windy and Jason came to the line to run their 5th test - Water Single at 1:05 pm

Windy entered the left corner of the pond. She got out and went over the point and back into the pond. She went up the hill towards the guns but got deep of them. She came back down to the get bird.

31. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW, "Dude," LM, Glen Curtis

Dude and Glen came to the line to run their 5th test - Water Single at 1:01 pm.

Dude entered the left corner of the pond and swam to the point exiting and reentering the water. He ran up the side of the land bridge. Dude got very wide and deep right. He ran left and came down to get his bird.

30. TEUFELHUND HALLS OF MONTEZUMA, "Zuma," LF, Buck Shope

Zuma and Buck came to the line at 12:57 to run their 5th test - Water Single.

Zuma went into the left corner of the pond and got over the point to get back into the water. She drove up the hill deep of the guns and worked her way back to get her bird.

PICK UP - 28. DICKENS' BAYOU TECHE PRAYIN' WHEN IT RAINS SH, "River," LM, Misty Melo

River and Misty came to the line for their 5th test - Water Single.

Misty had to pick up River.

27. BREEZY CHIRPING CRICKET, "Cricket," LF, Hunter Street

Cricket and Hunter came to the line for their 5th test - Water Single at 12:51 pm.

Cricket went into the corner of the pond, over the point and back into the water. He climbed the hill towards the gunners, but went deep then back right to the bird.

Test Five - Test Dogs

The Test Dogs both ran this Fifth Series as a Double, but the judges decided that it should be a long single instead. We will only report on what they did for the left hand single mark.

Came to the line 12:26 pm

Vinson's Nex Boueux Noir Zeke, "Zeke," LM, James Vinson

Water Single - Zeke got into left corner of the water on line to the guns. He crossed the point and reentered the water. He climbed up the hill deep of the guns, took a few passes and then down to the right for his bird.

Came to the line 12:33 pm

Macomo's Queen Of Fall, "Queen," LF, Dave Donahue

Water Single - Queen got into the left corner of the pond. She made it over the point and back into the water. Exiting angled right, up the hill from the bird about 100 yards. The long guns stand up to help.

Fifth Series – Water Double with a Simulated Flyer

The judges were going to have a Water Double with a Simulated Flyer using dead ducks. They decided to remove the right hand bird.

This single flyer is thrown to the right angled back at 275 yards. The dogs must run down a long slope and across a body of water and transverse the inner part of the point to get into the other piece of this same water. Then they must go up across the hill side with strips of unmowed cover to get their dead duck. The test picture below does not reflect the removal of the right hand bird.




Callbacks To The Fifth Series

36 dogs have been called back to the 5th series, they are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44.

5 dogs were dropped, and they are 7, 8, 23, 26 and 38

Dog # 27 will start the 5th Series.

RERUN - 4. BAYOU TECHE PAINT THE BLACK, "Madduxx," LM, Glen Curtis

Madduxx and Glen came to the line for their rerun of the 4th series at 11:15 am.

Flyer - Madduxx got deep but made a circle and came back for his bird.

Right Bird - He drove down the hill and crossed both roads and went straight to his bird.






PICK UP - 7. KANGA'S KRYPTONITE COCKTAIL, "Kanga," LF, Hunter Street

Kanga and Hunter came to the line at 11:08 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Short - Kanga went straight to the fall area but missed her bird. She had a very extended hunt which made Hunter pick her up.

6. TUCQUAN'S BEAUTY BEHIND THE MADNESS, "Bella," LF, Seth Steenburgen

Bella and Seth came to the line at 11:05 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Bella hunted the first cover strip then moved deeper to get her bird.

Right Bird - She drove across both roads, circled the gunners then went into the cover and got her bird.

5. RAZOR'S BUCKSHOT, "Shooter," LM, Christian Alt

Shooter and Christian came to the line for their 4th test at 11:01 am.

Flyer - Short - Shooter went straight to his bird.

Right Bird - He crossed the first road and headed right. He made the adjustment and went into the cover for his bird.

NOBIRD - 4. BAYOU TECHE PAINT THE BLACK, "Madduxx," LM, Glen Curtis

Madduxx and Glen went to the line their 4th test and received a no bird. The will be placed back for a rerun.

3. CANDLEWOODS MEET MR OTIS, "Otis," LM, Rod Sage

Otis and Rod came to the line for their 4th test.

Flyer - Went out to this bird and Drilled It.

Right Bird - Otis crossed both roads then ran into the cover to his bird - Nice.

Flyer - Dealer went up the hill just left and got a few steps deep. He made a quick turn right and got his bird.

Right Bird - He got a little deep but quickly made a turn back and went to his bird.

RERUN - 41. NO SLACK, "Tight," LF, Jason Baker

Tight and Jason Baker came to the line at 10:50 am for their rerun on test 4.

Flyer - Tight drove up the hill and through the cover strips. She hunted left of the fall, then quickly moved right to her bird.

Right Bird - She crossed both roads then turned towards the cover where she got in to get her bird.




44. MICKEY'S VICTORY RUN, "Harley," LM, Christian Alt

Harley and Christian came to the line at 10:47 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Harley drove out and put his nose on the bird.

Right Bird - He crossed both roads then made a turn behind the guns. He went straight into the cover and got his bird.

Lady and Hunter came to line at 10:43 am to start their 4th test.

Flyer - Lady hunted deep and left for her bird. She got it.

Right Bird - She drove down the hill and crossed both roads. One turn left put her into the cover and on her bird.

43. BEAVER RUNS RAYMOND FOR SHERIFF, "Raymond," LM, Leigh Windham

Raymond and Leigh came to the line for their 4th test at 10:39 am.

Flyer - Raymond went out a little right, then got deeper to the left. However, he quickly found his bird.

Right Bird - Great Mark on this bird.

June and Christian came to the line for their rerun of the 4th test at 10:37 am.

Flyer - June went out to the fall area, and with a few quick tight turns she got her bird.

Right Bird - Excellent Mark right to her bird.

Flyer - Tobi looped short of the first row of cover, then she worked her way to the next row and to her bird.

Archie and Bill came to the line for their rerun on the 4th test at 10:29 am.

Flyer - Archie made a turning short of the first row of cover. He moved up to the next strip and got his bird.

Right Bird - He crossed both roads and put his nose on his bird.

Jason and Tight came to the line and received a no bird. They will be placed back and have a rerun.

40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope

Marty and Buck came to the line at 10:25 to start their 4th test.

Flyer - Marty ran out to the first row of cover, check out a small area then he went on to the next row and got his bird.

Right Bird - He drove straight to his bird.

Virgil and Ray came to the line at 10:21 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Virgil hunted left and deep. He then moved to the right and got his bird.

Right Bird - He crossed both roads leaning to the right. He went around the guns and back into the cover to get his bird.

38. CONTENDERS LAW DAWG, "Al," LM, Colby Williams

Al and Colby came to the line at 10:16 am for their 4th series.

Flyer - Long Bird - Al stopped short and hunted left. He came back across the field to the right and got deep up the hill. He came back down had an extended hunt but got his bird.

Right Bird - He crossed both roads and went around the guns. He came back to the cover and missed his bird. He continued to hunt then came back to the cover for his bird.

NO BIRD - 37. ROCKET'S HOTTER THAN A CHIMNEY FIRE, "June," LF, Christian Alt

June and Christian received a No Bird on their 4th test. They will be placed back for a rerun.

Pink and Robbie came to the line at 10:10 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Pink went out to the fall area and just missed the bird. She made one short circle and came back for her bird.

Right Bird - She went straight to the bird.

Gun Change / Conditions - 4th Series

Our second gun changed came at 10:03 pm.

We have a bit of an increase in temperature to 75 degrees and the wind as changed tiny bit. It is now coming in SSE at 14 MPH.

The high is only going to be 79 degrees and we have a chance of isolated thundershowers tonight. Lets hope it holds off until we can complete day two of the 2018 National Retriever Derby Championship.

Colt and Clint got to the line at 9:59 for their 4th test.

Flyer - Long - Colt went straight up the hill to get his very long bird.

Right Bird - He went out and crossed both roads quickly but got a little deep. He turned and went into the cover and got his bird.

33. OLDSQUAW'S LITTLE RASCAL, "Rascal," LF, Frank Purdy

Rascal and Frank came to the line at 9:54 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Rascal went out to the fall area and made a few turns and got her bird.

Right Bird - She drove out over both roads into the corner and quickly got her bird.

Windy and Jason came to the line at for their 4th test.

Flyer - Windy went out and hunted deep, but she came back in and got her bird.

Right Bird - She went straight to the area between the guns and the bird. She made a quick turn and got her bird.

Dude and Glen came to the line for their 4th test at 9:45 am.

Flyer - Dude went straight to the area of the fall. He came in from the right and go his bird.

Right Bird - Dude was right and a little deep of the guns. He pulled left and got his bird.

River and Misty came to the line at 9:39 to run their 4th test.

Flyer - Excellent mark on this bird.

Right Bird - River went down hill and crossed both roads to go straight to the bird and put his nose right on it.

Hulk and Glen came to the line for their rerun on the 4th test at 9:35 am.

Right Bird - Hulk got out and crossed both roads. He drove up the hill to the fall area and straight to his bird.

Cricket and Hunter came to the lines for their 4th test.

Flyer - Cricket drove up the far hill close to the guns. She made one loop left then right very short and tight to the guns. She then got her bird.

Right Bird - She crossed both roads and on her bird.

26. MEADOW WOODS DOC HOLIDAY, "Doc," LM, Tony Despenas

Doc and Tony came to the line at the 9:27 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Doc went to the fall of area and missed it. He continued his hunt left and deep back of the fall area and missed it again. He continued his hunt until he found his bird.

Right Bird - He went down the hill and crossed the roads to the fall area and on his bird.



25. RAINWATERS ISAAC, "Ike," LM, Shawn Ward

Ike and Shawn came to the line at 9:19 am to run their 4th test.

Flyer - Ike went wide left going up the hill. He got deep then came back to get his bird.

Right Bird - He went down the hill and crossed both roads to the fall area and to his bird. Ike dropped the bird on the way back and had to handle back to find it.


24. GET SUM MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, "Max," LM, Jason Baker

Max and Jason came to the line to run their 4th series at 9:17 am.

Flyer - Max had a perfect line to the bird.

Right Bird - He went down the hill and crossed both roads and went straight to his get his bird.

PICK UP - 23. WHITE OAK LIL' MS. STORMY, "Stormy," LF, Martin Kirby

Stormy and Marty came to the line to run their 4th series.

Flyer - Stormy put her nose right on the bird!

Right Bird - She went down the hill, stopped short and went back to the flyer. Marty had to pick her up.

Gun Change / Condition - 4th Series

The first gun change for the 4th series happened at 9:08 am.

The current temperature is 71 degrees with 90% humidity. The wind is out of the SE at 13 MPH. There still is a 50% chance of rain.

22. BAYOU-STAR FLEURTY GIRL, "Fleurt," LF, Suzan Caire

Fleurt and Suzanne came to the line ready to run their 4th test.

Flyer - Fleurt had moved up a row of cover then got her bird.

Right Bird - She drove down the hill and across both roads. She went out to the fall area then into the short and tall cover for her bird.

NO BIRD - RERUN - 17. SLR'S BIG GREEN SMASH, "Hulk," LM, Glen Curtis

Hulk and Glen got their 2nd no bird on the 4th test. The will again be placed back have another rerun.

RERUN - 15. COLONIAL'S WE WILL ROCK YOU, "Rocky," LM, Buck Shope

Rocky and Buck came to the line for their rerun on the 4th test at 9:00 am.

Flyer - Rocky went down the hill and drove up just left of the fall area. He made a quick adjustment and got his bird.

Right Bird - He went out across both roads and to the field with the guns. He made a quick turn into the cover for his bird.

21. TECHE'S BAYOU KAT, "Kate," LF, Wayne Stupka

Kate and Wayne came to the line at 8:53 am to start their 4th test.

Flyer - Kate went up the far hill to the fall area and right to her bird.

Right Bird - She went down the hill and crossed the first road. She made a loop short then crossed the second road and straight to her bird.

RERUN - 14. BEAVER CREEK'S MAGIC WHITE LIGHTNING, "Madge," LF, Sol Semmler

Madge and Sol came to the line for their rerun at 8:50 am.

Flyer - Perfect retrieve of this bird.

Right Bird - Madge crossed both roads and into the cover where she put her nose right on the bird.

20. SWIFT RIVERS JEFFERSON MONTICELLO, "Jefferson," LM, Buck Shope

Jefferson and Buck came to the line at 8:45 am for their 4th test.

Flyer - Jefferson climbed the hill and started a short hunt in the first row of cover before extending it to cover a large area and got his bird.

Right Bird - He went down the hill and crossed both roads. He went out to the fall area and hunted up and down the cover. He stayed in the general area but had trouble but finally did get his bird.
