Callbacks to the Tenth Series

23 dogs have been called back to the 10th series, they are 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 13, 14, 19, 20, 22, 27, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 41, 42, and 44.

No dogs were dropped. 


Dog #35 starts the next series.

The Test Dogs will run at 7:45 am and the first running dog will run at 8:00 am.

In The Books - 9th Series

20. SWIFT RIVERS JEFFERSON MONTICELLO, "Jefferson," LM, Buck Shope

Jefferson came to the line at 4:52 pm.

Short - He hunted a little deep left but got his bird.

Long - Jefferson went down the terraces and straight to his bird.

19. TOP LINE RANGER LEADS THE WAY, "Ranger," LM, Marc Patton

Ranger came to the line at 4:49 pm.

Short - Good Mark!

Long - Ranger went down the hill straight to the fall area then to his bird.

14. BEAVER CREEK'S MAGIC WHITE LIGHTNING, "Madge," LF, Sol Semmler

Madge came to the line at 4:47 pm.

Short - Madge Stepped On It!!!

Long - Straight to the guns, turned left and got her bird.

13. IDAHO'S DUCK'S, BUCK'S & TRUCK'S, "Trucker," LM, Misty Melo

Trucker came to the line at 4:43 pm.

Short - Good Mark!

Long - Trucker went down the terraces and took two quick loops short then went to his bird.

11. SWEETIE'S LITTLE DASH-A-RUE QAA, "Dash," LF, Alex Drent

Dash got to the line at 4:42 pm

Short - Dash went out to the fall area then to her bird.

Long - Perfect Mark!

9. TEUFELHUND ARM BAR TAKEDOWN, "Rousey," LF, Buck Shope

Rousey came to the line at 4:48 pm.

Short - Rousey got deep but then turned left and quickly got his bird.

Long - He went out, turned right and left then got to his bird.

5. RAZOR'S BUCKSHOT, "Shooter," LM, Christian Alt

Shooter came to the line at 4:35 pm.

Short - Shooter got out and made a quick left turn to get his bird.

Long - Straight to his bird.

4. BAYOU TECHE PAINT THE BLACK, "Madduxx," LM, Glen Curtis

Madduxx came to the line at 4:32 pm.

Short - Madduxx got a little wide right. He passed his bird but came back for it.

Long - He went down the terraced field and into the cover by the guns, then moved left to get his bird.

2. PEPPERJACK'S DEAL ME AN ACE, "Dealer," LM, Misty Melo

Dealer came to the line at 4:28 pm.

Short - Dealer got far left on the line to the bird. He quickly adjusted and got his bird.

Long - Very nice mark.

1. LEADING LADY OF THE PACK, "Lady," LF, Hunter Street

Lady came to the line at 4:25 pm.

Short - Straight to her bird.

Long - She went to the fall area, took two quick turns then put her nose on her bird.

44. MICKEY'S VICTORY RUN, "Harley," LM, Christian Alt

Harley came to the line at 4:23 pm.

Short - Harley got to the fall area then to his bird.

Long - Down the terraces and to his bird. - Very Nice


42. WILD WINGS SHUT UP AND HOLD ON, "Tobi," LF, Jimmie Darnell

Tobi came to the line at 4:20 pm to run her 9th test.

Short - She tumbled on her way out, taking two turns she got her bird.

Long - Down the terrace, one turn and she got her bird.

41. NO SLACK, "Tight," LF, Jason Baker

Tight came to the line at 4:16 pm

Short - Tight got a little deep but quickly put her nose on the bird.

Long - She hunted short and to the left. Took three or four turns and she got it.

Gun Change - 9th Series

Out gun change happened at 4:09 pm. These dogs are moving fast. We should be done in no time.

40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope

Marty came to the line at 4:07 pm.

Short - Marty took two turns left and two turns deep then got his bird.

Long - He got down the field wide left, stopped short took one turn then got to his bird.

37. ROCKET'S HOTTER THAN A CHIMNEY FIRE, "June," LF, Christian Alt

June came to the line at 4:05 pm.

Short - June went out to the fall area. A quick turn to get her bird.

Long - Down the terraces, she hunted a little short left but quickly got her bird.

36. SEASIDES GOT TO GET UP AND TRY, "Pink," LF, Robbie Knutson

Pink came to the line at 4:01 pm.

Short - Nice job to her bird.

Long - Hunted deep then shallow but found the bird quickly.

Archie came to the line for his run on test 9.

Colt came to the line at 3:55 pm.

Short - To the fall area and the bird.

Long - Over the terraces down the field and straight to his bird.

33. OLDSQUAW'S LITTLE RASCAL, "Rascal," LF, Frank Purdy

Rascal came to the line at 3:52 pm.

Short - Straight to the fall area then to her bird.

Long - A little wide left at the end but quickly adjusted to get her bird.

32. HOSTESS CITY'S SEASIDE TORNADO WARNING, "Windy," LF, Jason Baker

Windy and Jason came to the line at 3:49 pm for the 9th series.

Short - Very nice mark!

Long - Windy went straight to the fall area and got her bird.

Zuma and Buck came to the line at 3:47 pm to run their 9th series.

Short - Zuma got out to the fall area and to her bird.

Cricket and Hunter came to the line to run their 9th test at 3:43 pm.

Short - Cricket went across the field to the fall area and to her bird.

Long - Very nice line to her bird.

22. BAYOU-STAR FLEURTY GIRL, "Fleurt," LF, Suzan Caire

Fleurt and Suzan came to the line to run their 9th series at 3:41 pm

Short - Fleurt crossed the field straight to her bird.

Long - She went down the terraces to her bird.

Test Dogs - 9th Series

Zeke came to the line at 3:30 pm.

Long - Zeke went straight to the bird.

Short - Quickly out under the arc and over to his bird.


Queen came to the line at 3:33 pm.

Short - Nice Mark!

Long - Out across the field angling to the left. She got out to the fall area and to her bird.

Ninth Series - Land Double

The mat is on a mound facing SW looking down a large terraced field. The long right bird is directly in front of the mat at 206 yards. This dead rooster is thrown to the left. Just behind the gunners is a thick cover strip. There is a mound just to the right and in towards the line from the gunners. The line to this bird is through several strips of cover and terraces. The second bird is to the left of the mat at 135 yards. The gunners throw this dead rooster flat to the right landing on the back side of the terrace.



Long Right Hand Rooster – 206 yards

Left Hand Short Rooster – 135 yards

Callbacks To The 9th

The 8th Series is officially in the books at 2:53 pm.

5. RAZOR'S BUCKSHOT, "Shooter," LM, Christian Alt

Shooter came to the line at 2:50 pm.

Short - He went out right of the bales then into the grove and got his bird.

Long - He ran up the middle of the field and into the pond. He drove the hill and cut behind the guns then turned back out to get his bird.



4. BAYOU TECHE PAINT THE BLACK, "Madduxx," LM, Glen Curtis

Madduxx came to teh line at 2:45 pm.

Short - Madduxx ran up under the arc. With a nice turn at the top of the arc, he came back into the grove for his bird.

Long - He drove up the center of the field and took the rim of the pond around to the right. He continued up the hill to the right of the guns. He hooked them then went straight to his bird.



RERUN - 40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope

Marty got back to the line for his re-run at 2:41 pm.

Short - Marty went right of the hay bales and got under the arc. He established a hunt deep before coming back down to the cedar grove to get his bird.

Long - He went up the middle of the field through the pond. He continued driving the middle all the way to his bird.

3. CANDLEWOODS MEET MR OTIS, "Otis," LM, Rod Sage

Otis came to the line at 2:32 pm.

Short - Otis went left of the hay bales and got under the arc. He took a few turns deep before coming down and into the grove for his bird.

Long - He went up the left side of the hill and got into the second pond, up over the hill and back down to his bird.


2. PEPPERJACK'S DEAL ME AN ACE, "Dealer," LM, Misty Melo

Dealer came to the line ready to run his 8th series.

Short - Perfect line all the way to his bird.

Long - Dealer ran up the field and swam through the pond. He continued on and took one loop deep of the guns then went over to get his bird.

1. LEADING LADY OF THE PACK, "Lady," LF, Hunter Street

Lady came to the line at 2:26 pm to run her 8th series.

Short - Lady ran out right of the hay bales and under the arc. She got a little deep but worked her back for her bird.

Long - She had a great line up the hill to the pond. She angled out of the pond but then straightened the line to get her bird. - Nice Job.

44. MICKEY'S VICTORY RUN, "Harley," LM, Christian Alt

Harley came to the line for the running of her 8th series.

Short - Harley ran all the out through the arc, then came right back for her bird.

Long - She ran up the hill and went through the pond. Staying right of the gunners, she hunted deep but then came back left to the bird.

42. WILD WINGS SHUT UP AND HOLD ON, "Tobi," LF, Jimmie Darnell

Tobi came to the line ready to run her 8th test.

Short - Tobi went right of the hay bales and turned left just past the cedar trees and come down to her bird - Nice.

Long - She went up the hill and through the pond. She stayed left of the gunners and went straight to her bird.

41. NO SLACK, "Tight," LF, Jason Baker

Tight got to the line ready to run her 8th series.

Short - Tight went right of the hay bales and continued driving until she level with the gunners. She turned left into the cedars and got her bird.

Long - She went up the middle of the field, got through the pond and continued up the hill to her bird.

NO BIRD - 40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope

Marty got to the line and received a no bird. Marty and Buck will be placed back 6 and have re-run.

37. ROCKET'S HOTTER THAN A CHIMNEY FIRE, "June," LF, Christian Alt

June got to the line at 2:02 pm.

Short - June went out wide right into the grove. She got back out then went deep. She came back to the grove of cedars and found her bird.

Long - She went out across the road and avoided the pond on the right. Driving up the hill she hooked the guns and started hunting a little deep before going out for the bird.

36. SEASIDES GOT TO GET UP AND TRY, "Pink," LF, Robbie Knutson

Pink came to the line at 1:57 pm.

Short - Pink went through the hay bales and under the arc. She quickly came back down to get her bird.

Long - She climbed the hill and went through the pond, then continued to go straight up to the fall area and her bird.

35. HUNTERS CHOICE XX, "Archie," LM, Bill Goldstein

Archie came to the line at 1:52 pm

Short - Archie went through the hay bales and straight to his bird.

Long - He drove the hill and into the pond. He continued to climb and peeled left before the guns and went straight to his bird.

34. STILL WATERS PULLIN' THE PEACEMAKER, "Colt," LM, Clint Weitzel

Colt came to the line at 1:48 pm.

Short - Colt got up under the arc and started to hunt deep. He worked the hill hard before coming back down into the cedars for his bird.

Long - He drove up the hill and got into the pond. Getting out and continuing up the hill he got right of the guns but then came back left to get his bird.

33. OLDSQUAW'S LITTLE RASCAL, "Rascal," LF, Frank Purdy

Rascal came to the line at 1:43 pm.

Short - Rascal went through the hay bales and got under the arc. She took one loop back to the bird and one loop out. She went back into the grove and got her bird.

Long - She missed the pond on the left as she climbed the hill. Cutting to the right in front of the guns, she hunted behind them but then came down to her bird.

Gun Change - 8th Series

It was time to switch up the gunners, so we had our gun change at 1:37 pm after dog # 32, "Windy" completed her 8th series.

32. HOSTESS CITY'S SEASIDE TORNADO WARNING, "Windy," LF, Jason Baker

Windy came to the line ready to run her 8th series.

Short - Windy went right of the hay bales and under the arc where she hunted deep of the guns for a bit then she moved down to the cedar grove and to her bird.

Long - She went up the hill and into the pond. Getting out she drove the hill again and got a little deep of the bird. However, she came back down and right to her bird.

30. TEUFELHUND HALLS OF MONTEZUMA, "Zuma," LF, Buck Shope

Zuma came to the line to run her 8th series.

Short - Zuma went out through the hay bales and got under the arc. She came back to the grove and got her bird.

Long - She went up the hill and into the pond on a line straight for her bird. Going up the hill she stayed in front of the guns and went out and got her bird.

27. BREEZY CHIRPING CRICKET, "Cricket," LF, Hunter Street

Cricket came to the line for her run of the 8th series.

Short - Cricket went through the hay bales and under the arc. She came back down wide left of the bird, then went to the cedar grove and to her bird.

Long - She drove up the hill and left of the pond. She continued to drive up and over the hill and got out of sight. But she came back down the hill and to her bird.

22. BAYOU-STAR FLEURTY GIRL, "Fleurt," LF, Suzan Caire

Fleurt came to the line at 1:17 pm.

Short - Fleurt went right of the hay bales and under the arc. She got deep but came back and got her bird.

Long - She went out across the road and up into the pond. She drove the hill to the right of the guns, hooked them which made her turn straight to get her bird.

PICK UP - 21. TECHE'S BAYOU KAT, "Kate," LF, Wayne Stupka

Kate went to the line for her 8th series.

Short - Kate went right of the hay bales, took one loop past the guns then dug into the cedars for the bird.

Long - She went out across the hill...Wayne ended up having to pick her up.

RERUN - 11. SWEETIE'S LITTLE DASH-A-RUE QAA, "Dash," LF, Alex Drent

Dash came to the line for his rerun.

Short - Dash went right of the hay bales and got deep of the guns. She took a few loops then came back down for his bird.

Long - She drove up the hill and went around the rim of the pond, up the right side and out to get her bird.

20. SWIFT RIVERS JEFFERSON MONTICELLO, "Jefferson," LM, Buck Shope

Jefferson came to the line at 1:03 pm.

Short - Jefferson went right of the hay bales and went under the arc. He hunted deep then worked his way back down to get  his bird.

Long - He went right of the pond, then hooked to get in. Staying in front of the guns he went straight to his bird.

19. TOP LINE RANGER LEADS THE WAY, "Ranger," LM, Marc Patton

Ranger came to the line at 1:03 pm.

Short - Ranger ran deep of the guns and hunted the hill. He worked his way back down to get his bird.

Long - He crossed the road and climbed the hill. He went through the pond and got up close to the guns. He hunted the trees by the guns then went out to his bird.

PICK UP - 17. SLR'S BIG GREEN SMASH, "Hulk," LM, Glen Curtis

Hulk came to the line at 12:52 pm.

Short - Hulk went out right of the hay bales and stopped just under the arc. He went left to get his bird.

Long - He went out left of the pond, climbed the hill and got into the 2nd pond high on the hill. Glen had to pick him up.

PICK UP - 16. SEASIDE'S MOJO MOXY, "Boots," LF, Jason Baker

Boots came to the line at 12:48 pm.

Short - Boots got through the hay bales and drove past the guns. She established a hunt pattern deep then got wide left in and around the pond. Handler Jason had to pick her up.

14. BEAVER CREEK'S MAGIC WHITE LIGHTNING, "Madge," LF, Sol Semmler

Madge came to the line at 12:41 pm.

Short - Madge crossed the road and went through the hay bales. She stayed in front of the guns but got a little deep. She turned back to get her bird.

Long - She went right of the pond and continued up the hill along the tree line. She hooked the guns and got her bird.

13. IDAHO'S DUCK'S, BUCK'S & TRUCK'S, "Trucker," LM, Misty Melo

Trucker came to the line at 12:38 pm.

Short - Trucker got right of the hay bales and left of the guns. He took two loops deep right and came back down into the grove to get his bird..

Long - He went across the field, and avoided the pond. Ended up going wide right, but hooked the gun and went straight out to get his bird.

Interference - 11. SWEETIE'S LITTLE DASH-A-RUE QAA, "Dash," LF, Alex Drent

Dash came to the line at 12:33 pm.

Long - Dash went down the hill and circled the rim of the pond. He went up to the trees behind the guns, hooked them and out to get his bird.

Short - Due to some noises on the line that caused confusion the judges stopped Dash and giving him a re-run. He was moved back 6 spots.

9. TEUFELHUND ARM BAR TAKEDOWN, "Rousey," LF, Buck Shope

Rousey came to the line at 12:28 pm.

Short - Rousey went up the hill and under the arc. He got a little deep but then came back into the Cedars for his bird.

Long - He climbed the hill and went into the pond. Getting out and going past the guns, he quickly came back down to get his bird.

Test Dogs - 8th Series

Queen came to the line at 12:03 pm.

Short Bird - Queen went out right of the hay bales and guns. She then went left into the trees to get her bird.

Long Bird - She went across the field and road. She ran the lip of the pond to the right, but with a handle she got into the water, swam then got out and ran wide right to the tree line, then to her bird.


Zeke came to the line at 12:13 pm.

Short Bird - Zeke crossed road and went right of the hay bales, he got deep of the guns under the arc and up to the trees. He came back to the cedar grove for his bird.

Long Bird - He crossed the road got into the pond, swam across and got out to continue up the hill and to his bird.

Eighth Series – Land/Water Double

The Eighth Series is a Land/Water double. This test is with a mixed bag of a dead hen duck and dead hen pheasant. The mat sits on a mound overlooking a beautiful bowl. There is a road running through the middle from left to right. The long bird sits straight in front of the mat at 280 yards. A dead hen mallard thrown to the left at 280 yards. The gun sits at the base of a grove of trees and the bird lands on an open hillside. The line to this bird is down the field, across the road, up to the far side and through a small pond continuing to the bird. Bird two, the short dead hen pheasant is on the right side of the test thrown to the left at 160 yards.The hen lands in a sparse grove of cedar trees. On the line to the bird is a row of hay bales which will either throw the dog to the right or the left. The test will take approximately 8 minutes to complete.

5 dogs were dropped, and they are 
6, 15, 24, 25 and 43.

In The Books - Test 7

It's a wrap with the last dog running be tight.

Test 7 is officially in the books at 11:20 am.

Tight and Jason came to the line at 11:30 am.

Flyer - Tight went straight to her bird.

Right Bird - She went under the arc then worked her way back to get her bird!



43. BEAVER RUNS RAYMOND FOR SHERIFF, "Raymond," LM, Leigh Windham

Raymond and Leigh came to the line at 10:52 am.

Flyer - Raymond went in on the left side of the fall area and executed a hunt deep and both left and right of the bird. He worked it out and got his bird.

Right Bird - He went right of the guns and got deep for a hunt before he came back and found his mark.

42. WILD WINGS SHUT UP AND HOLD ON, "Tobi," LF, Jimmie Darnell

Tobi and Jimmie came to the line to run their 7th test.

Flyer - Tobi had a big hunt pattern that covered a lot of area, but she came back with her bird.

Right Bird - Excellent Mark on this bird.


2nd RERUN - 33. OLDSQUAW'S LITTLE RASCAL, "Rascal," LF, Frank Purdy

Rascal and Frank came to the line for their re-run on test 7 at 10:44 am.

Flyer - Perfect Line to the bird.

Right Bird - Boom! Went out and put her nose right on the bird.

NO BIRD - 41. NO SLACK, "Tight," LF, Jason Baker

Tight and Jason came to the line at 10:42 am and received a no bird. They will be placed back and have a re-run.

40. SWIFT RIVER'S BACK IN TIME, "Marty," LM, Buck Shope

Buck and Marty came to the line at 10:38 am.

Flyer - Marty had an excellent run to the fall area. He quickly moved to the right and got his bird.

Right Bird - Very nice mark to get his bird.

2nd RERUN - 27. BREEZY CHIRPING CRICKET, "Cricket," LF, Hunter Street

Cricket and Hunter came to the line at 10:34 am for their re-run on the 7th test.

Flyer - Cricket went out to the area of the fall and quickly covered it and got her bird.

Right Bird - Excellent Mark!

June and Christian came to the line for their 7th test...

Flyer - June had a direct line to her bird.

Right Bird - Another excellent line right to her bird.

Colt and Clint came to the line at 10:33 am for their re-run.

Flyer - Colt went straight to the fall area and had a tight hunt to get his bird.

Right Bird - He went to the area of the fall and got his bird.

Conditions Report

The sun is higher in the sky, yet the visibility of the right hand bird has not improved due to the long shadows from the tree line and those in the field itself. The winds have picked up and the temperatures have only risen slightly. The flyer station continues to have issues with no birds.

Rascal and Frank came to the line for their re-run and received a second no bird. The will be placed back and have a re-run.

35. HUNTERS CHOICE XX, "Archie," LM, Bill Goldstein

Archie and Bill came to the line at 10:08 am.

Flyer - Archie drove deep and left of the bird. He established a thorough hunt of the area before coming into the area of the fall and getting his bird.

Right - He went under the arc of the bird and started hunting. He took two loops and came back to the bird.


2nd RERUN - 20. SWIFT RIVERS JEFFERSON MONTICELLO, "Jefferson," LM, Buck Shope

Jefferson and Buck came to the line for the re-run of their 7th test.

Flyer - Jefferson started to hunt under the arc. He then moved out to the area of the fall and got his bird.

Right Bird - Nice Mark on this bird.

NO BIRD - RERUN - 27. BREEZY CHIRPING CRICKET, "Cricket," LF, Hunter Street

Cricket and Hunter received another no bird. They will be placed back and have another re-run.

32. HOSTESS CITY'S SEASIDE TORNADO WARNING, "Windy," LF, Jason Baker

Windy and Jason came to the line at 9:59 am

Flyer - Flapping Bird - Windy went out and had a quick turn deep and then got her bird.

Right Bird - She went under the arc, made a few tight turns in the fall area and got her bird.

NO BIRD - 34. STILL WATERS PULLIN' THE PEACEMAKER, "Colt," LM, Clint Weitzel

Colt and Clint had a no bird when they came to the line to run their 7th test. They will be placed back and have a re-run.

30. TEUFELHUND HALLS OF MONTEZUMA, "Zuma," LF, Buck Shope

Zuma and Buck came to the line at 9:52 am.

Flyer - Zuma had a very long flyer that almost went to the road. However, she hunted up and down the field close to the road until she found her bird.

Right Bird - Nice retrieve of this bird.
