The Eighth Series is a Land/Water double. This test is with a mixed
bag of a dead hen duck and dead hen pheasant. The mat sits on a mound
overlooking a beautiful bowl. There is a road running through the middle
from left to right. The long bird sits straight in front of the mat at
280 yards. A dead hen mallard thrown to the left at 280 yards. The gun
sits at the base of a grove of trees and the bird lands on an open
hillside. The line to this bird is down the field, across the road, up
to the far side and through a small pond continuing to the bird. Bird
two, the short dead hen pheasant is on the right side of the test thrown
to the left at 160 yards.The hen lands in a sparse grove of cedar
trees. On the line to the bird is a row of hay bales which will either
throw the dog to the right or the left. The test will take approximately
8 minutes to complete.
